"The general approach I take is that of installation, I use a broad range of media employing what is relevant to each situation. There are two separate though related concerns which exist in much of the work, these I describe as:

Where there seems to be something but is nothing
Where there seems to be nothing but is something

The most obvious examples of these are the Accidental Sculptures for the first and the Shadow Works for the second point. Throughout all the work I would like to think there is a continuing concern with the social through a responding to the everyday."

Solo exhibitions include Michael Cosar Gallery, Dusseldorf (1998) and CSKX studios, London (2000). He has exhibited widely in Europe, particularly Germany as well as at the ICA, London in 'Raise The Shadow' (1992) and at The Whitechapel Gallery, London where he was the film programmer from 1994-8.
